BRIAN GASKILL (Jack Chase)

Brian has been at this since 1993 when he graduated from the prestigious Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. Upon graduation, his first job was acting in The Lion in Winter at The Cleveland Playhouse, where he was directed by the legendary Jack Hofsiss. His co-star, Tony Award winner Elizabeth Franz, convinced Brian to head to Los Angeles where he began his television career. Brian is a vet of daytime and primetime TV, appearing in contract roles on “All My Children,” “Port Charles,” “Bold and the Beautiful,” “As the World Turns,” and “Guiding Light,” and also on Aaron Spelling’s “Melrose Place” spin-off, “Models Inc.” Brian is very excited to be returning to the stage for his first time in a NYC production (his original dream) and is grateful to all the creatives behind Chasing Jack..

DENNIS BRITO (Michael Ockerman)

Dennis is a NY based stage, TV, & film actor who is thrilled to be back on the boards in Chasing Jack. Theater credits include: Poisoned at the Mint Theater; Last Jew in Europe at the Triad, All’s Fair in Love & Science at Manhattan Theater Source; Balm in Gilead at T. Schreiber Studios; La Nina Que Moria a Cada Rato at Repertorio Espanol, and Stage Kiss at the Cider Mill Playhouse. Film credits include the lead role in the indie thriller “The Ideal” and supporting roles in “Before The Snow,” “Reunion 108,” “1971,” and “Into the Limelight.” TV appearances include “The Food That Built America,” “A Crime To Remember,” “The Perfect Murder,” and the upcoming series “A Good Cop.”  Dennis occasionally works as a Human Resources executive when his schedule permits.  See more info @ www.dennisbrito.com

JAMES C GAVIN (Robert Arnold)

Serendipity brought James to acting after a long career as a criminal investigator, prosecutor, and trial lawyer. He has taught English in a Ugandan orphanage, searched for and found his extended family in the mountains of Ukraine, and served as a pastoral care worker in a Philadelphia hospital. Most recently, James appeared Off-Broadway as Leon Jaworski with Rich Little in Trial on the Potomac. He is a graduate of New York's William Esper Studio.

SAMANTHA RUSTON (Taylor Barrett)

Samantha is originally from Charleston, WV. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Theatre. Recent credits include Sibyl Vane in The Picture of Dorian Gray, American Spirit 7 in the Off-Broadway production of One Nation, One Mission, One Promise, and Hostess in Space Race. She has appeared in various commercials and films including the award-winning, Dreams of You and Me. She is a voiceover artist and a performer/writer for the sketch comedy team, Jerry Did It.  Thanks to mom and dad. EMILY MILLER (Rebecca James)

is thrilled to be making her NY stage debut in Chasing Jack. Regional Theatre credits include: Young Loretta in Loretta the Yodeling Cowgirl (Centenary Stage Company), Diana in Flowers: A Thorny Romance (Paterson Performing Arts Council) and Lucy Burns in both the touring production and film version of Votes For Women (Speranza Theatre Company). She's also played Brigid Blake in The Humans (Chatham Players), Jess in King Charles III (Zenith Players) and River in Appropriate (Studio Players) in their NJ premiers. CAROLINE SPOSTO (Dr. Maxine Noel)

Caroline Sposto recently arrived in New York City. Most of her previous stage performances were in the Southeastern U.S. where she performed in comedies and dramas that ranged from works by Samuel Beckett, to Tennessee Williams, to Del Shores and … more. She’s also a professional writer, the proud mother of two grown daughters, and creator of the ETC 10-Minute Play fest that has been running annually at Theatreworks, Memphis since 2016. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is currently seeking representation.

JOHN S ANASTASI (Playwright)

Works written for the stage include In My Father’s Eyes, a play with music, produced at the Forum Theatre (New Jersey) and the historic Mishler Theatre (Altoona, PA), music by David Friedman.  It was selected as an alternate at the New York Fringe Festival summer 2003.  Stolen Lives, a two-character drama, was presented at the Acorn Theater at Theatre Row after being presented at the Mishler Theatre.  Pied a Terre enjoyed a successful Off-Broadway premiere at the Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row in 2007.  Since being published by Samuel French in 2008, Pied a Terre has been produced at the Cork Theatre in Ireland and has been fully translated to Chinese and produced at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in China as well as multiple cities in China.  Pied a Terre has been optioned for a Broadway production in the near future.  I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan was produced Off-Broadway at the Beckett Theatre in Manhattan in summer 2013.  It has been recently published by Dramatic Publishing of Chicago.  Transition was presented as a stage reading at the Dorothy Streslin Theatre and the 5th Wall Theatre/Richmond Triangle Players in Richmond, Virginia.  In January 2015 Transition was chosen as a finalist at the Venus Adonis Play Festival in NYC.  In September 2015, Would You Still Love Me IF… was produced Off-Broadway at New World Stages starring and directed by Ms. Kathleen Turner. The playwright is an active member of the Dramatists Guild of America Inc.  Comments welcomed at gannonmd@aol.com.

PETER J LOEWY (Director)

Peter was the producing Artistic Director of the Forum Theatre Arts Center in New Jersey for 35 years where he produced and directed over 100 plays and musicals. He recently wrote and directed a parody of House on Haunted Hill, A Horror of Comedy, based on the 1959 film of the same name. He began his career as a young man with famed librettist Michael Stewart and producer David Merrick. Thanks to Tina for all her love and support.

JOEL CONNELLY (Master Carpenter)

Began building sets for Dr. Anastasi’s productions beginning in with In My Father’s Eyes, Stolen Lives, Pied a Terre, I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, Transition, and Chasing Jack.  In addition he has created and built sets for many of the Altoona Community Theater’s productions over the last twenty-five years.

JAK PRINCE (Lighting Designer)

Jak is an award winning designer and director. Most recently he has worked with Step 1 Theater project on their production of Mahogany Brown and the Case of the Disappearing Kid. In addition he has designed with The Wandering Theater Co for their critically acclaimed productions of Antigone, The Trial of Mrs. Surratt and The Laramie Project and is their technical director. He also directed A Match Remade in Heaven by Amanda Terman which was a finalist at the Secret Theater's Act One One Act festival and Ken LeSure's The Package as part of Summerfest. His daughter, Danielle, is an accomplished animal trainer based in the Austin, Texas area.

MARK BARON (Sound Design and Original Music)

Mark Baron, keyboardist, composer, arranger, musical director, and conductor, has performed with countless music legends including over 40 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees across five continents. Mark is currently musical director for the legendary Gloria Gaynor (2020 - Best Roots Gospel Album) as well as famed 1960s vocal group The Duprees. He is also the musical director/conductor and BOD member for the East Coast Music Hall of Fame. Other credits include Aretha Franklin, Gary U.S. Bonds, Darlene Love, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, David Foster, The Beach Boys, Ben E. King, Mary Wilson (The Supremes), The Temptations, Tony Orlando, Tito Puente Jr., Ronnie Spector, John Cafferty (Beaver Brown Band), Joey Molland (Badfinger), Leslie Gore, Sister Sledge, Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Little Anthony & the Imperials, The Stylistics, Stephen Bishop, Maxine Nightingale, Gary Puckett (Union Gap), just to name a few. Mark has conducted, arranged for, and performed with many prestigious ensembles including The Netherlands’ Grammy-Award-winning Metropole Orchestra, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, The Houston Symphony, The Miami Symphony, The Atlanta Symphony, The ENBE Orchestra (Istanbul), The Gerardo Di Lella Orchestra (Rome), and The Ocean City Pops Orchestra. Mark has been seen on many televised performances including Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, The Today Show, The Colbert Report, The Harry Connick, Jr. Show, Fox & Friends, CBS Sunday Morning, CNN, PBS, TBN Praise, Cake Boss and HGTV. His arrangements have also been heard on Disney/NBC's Bachelor in Paradise. Mark penned the score for Frankenstein, A New Musical (37 Arts Theatre) starring Tony-Award-nominees Hunter Foster and Christiane Noll. The show, now represented by Playscripts, Inc., continues to be produced all around the world. He also arranged and orchestrated the NYC productions of Love in the Middle Ages (Stage 72, 2015 Fringe Festival), The Signature Project (Sheen Center 2018), The Great Hall (Sanford Meisner Theatre), Go West – the Story of Village People (Equity showcase) and Missing Celia Rose (NYC PlayFest). BRIDGET CALLINAN (Marketing Director)

Bridget Callinan received her B.S. degree in Media Communication Studies, with a Hospitality minor, at Florida State University. Upon graduation, she started her own company, OverTheBridg Media, where she specializes in Social Media Management, Marketing, and Website management. Her love for the Arts and Entertainment Industry has allowed her to hold multiple positions in the theatre realm. While managing OverTheBridg, Bridget also works as the Programming and Event Coordinator for Delray Beach Playhouse, the Marketing and Event Manager for Arts Center Management, and an Associate Editor for a local South Florida Theater Magazine.

 

HUGH HYSELL (Marketing Consultant)

Hugh has served as marketing director of over 200 Broadway and Off Broadway shows (including Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, and others), drove membership and single ticket sales for performing arts centers (NYU Skirball and others) led sales channels for multiple e-commerce sites (Groupon, BroadwayBox, Goldstar, Broadway Insider and others), and activated grassroots street teams for over 50 Broadway shows, films and TV series. He currently serves as Director of Marketing for Broadway Records. He is a founding member of The Off Broadway Alliance and currently serves as a nominator for the Off Broadway Alliance Award. @hughhysell

JEFFREY PASSERO (Casting Director)

Casting director, producer, director, actor & teacher, Jeffery Passero has a successful feature film casting career of over 60 movies, including “Poison Ivy” with Drew Barrymore, Nick Cage’s “Sonny” with James Franco and “The Sasquatch Gang” with Justin Long. He is currently casting and co- producing, a remake of the film “Good Luck Miss Wyckoff,” based on the novel by William Inge. He began his acting career at New York’s Roundabout Theatre (Pins and Needles, You Never Can Tell) before taking over the casting there for two seasons, casting actors such as Danny Glover, Kelsey Grammer & Malcolm McDowell. Passero trained as an actor with Terry Schreiber and Larry Moss. He began his undergraduate studies in Speech & Drama at Catholic University and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Journalism at The University of Connecticut. In the works, Passero is producing the film “Love, Marriage & Marilyn Monroe”, Oley Sassone’s “Louis,” a Louis Armstrong biopic and the new musical Kiki Baby (NYMF-2011) with writer/directors, Lonny Price and Matt Cowart. Passero also wrote (and performs in) CASTING ASPERSIONS, his play about his life as a casting director. AURORA J WINGER (Production Stage Manager / Associate General Manager of Actor's Temple)

is excited to be bringing Chasing Jack to Actor's Temple! Off-Broadway credits include: Trial on the Potomac (PSM), The Bronx Babe (GM), The Importance of Being Earnestly LGBT+ (PSM), Funikijam: Totally Awesome (PSM), Mandela (PSM). Other credits include: MicroTeatro at INTAR Theatre (SM), TRU Virtual Audition Weekend (SM), Seize the King at Classical Theater of Harlem (FOH), Bryant Park Picnic Performance for Classical Theater of Harlem (FOH). is based in New York and produces, manages and casts live events and theatre across the country. Off-Broadway-General Managed both My Big Gay Italian Wedding and My Big Gay Italian Funeral. 22Q Entertainment also teamed with the Oxygen Television Network, associate producing their Up-Front live events, and for the past two years have been the Associate Producers and casting Directors for Shakespeare On the Sound in Connecticut. 22Q co-produced the Off Broadway production of Would You Still Love Me IF… starring Kathleen Turner. 22Q Entertainment was honored to be EMMY NOMINATED as a Producer in 2014 for “Tainted Dreams”… an exciting new Soap Opera. RACHEL STANGE (Producer)

Rachel began her career as a journalist. During that time, she worked with high profile news organizations such as: CBS News, Entertainment Tonight, LOGO and CBS Entertainment.  She later made a career change to theater working with Broadway press firm Boneau Bryan/Brown working on shows such as: Mary StuartThe Norman ConquestsBrighton Beach MemoirsThe 39 Steps, Signature Theater and more. Her time as a theatrical press agent lead her to becoming interested in producing for the stage. Rachel started her producing career in the office of Broadway producer Jamie deRoy and has been with her for over ten years. She was a part of the producing team for The King's Speech in London's West End and Godspell on Broadway.  In addition to Chasing Jack, she is the lead producer on a new musical Esther: The Heart of a Queen. She is a member of the Drama League, TRU Career Producers Team and The League of Professional Theater Women. She also recently joined the film world as a producer on the new documentary Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age now showing on PBS’s Great Performances.

ACTORS TEMPLE THEATRE

is housed in the historical Actors Temple Synagogue building in the heart of New York's Time Square Theatre District. This theatre has been the home of the long-running production of Black Angels Over Tuskegee, which played for almost ten years year Off-Broadway, as well as. MAARTEN CORNELIS (Technical Director/Lighting Designer for Actor’s Temple)

is an entrepreneur and an entertainment veteran with over two decades of experience in the industry.  He is a Producer, Director, Light Designer, Actor and Film Festival Manager. Over the last 20 years, Maarten has worn multiple hats.  His interest in the technical world of entertainment spiked after studying at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles.  At the age of 21, he led their theater group.  He was in charge of producing and directing their shows, and eventually held the role as the Institute’s Technical Director. He ended up working as a Technical Director at various venues and has had the honor of designing the lights for numerous live events, working for Francis Ford Coppola, the late Ennio Morricone, John Legend, Bianca Del Rio, and many more.  He is a frequent guest Light Designer at the exclusive Carnegie Hall in New York City.  He has won several awards for his light design work, including being named one of the best Light Designers in all of Los Angeles by Broadway World, as well as being published in international design magazines. Maarten is the CEO of Gatehouse Entertainment (www.gatehouse-entertainment.com), a company focused on film and theatre productions.  Upcoming films in which Maarten has Executive Produced include Dinner For Two and Music Garden.  Upcoming theater productions include all FunikiJam shows starting with Totally Awesome in June of 2021. He is the co-owner of Cinematory (www.cinematory.com), a company that maintains and operates 6 major film festivals in North America, including the Boston Short Film Festival, The Toronto Arthouse Film Festival, and the newly introduced New Jersey Independent Film Festival.  He is also the founder of Producer’s Night (www.producersnight.com).  An exclusive yearly VIP event for new film makers to introduce their work to world renowned producers and directors.
